8 Ball Pool

The game of eight-ball arose around 1900 in the United States as a development of pyramid pool, which allows any eight of the fifteen object balls to be pocketed to win. The game arose from two changes made, namely that the 8 ball must be pocketed last to win, and that each player may only pocket half of the other object balls.
By 1925 the game was popular enough for the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Company to introduce purpose-made ball sets with seven red, seven yellow, one black ball, and the cue ball, which allowed spectators to more easily see which suit each ball belonged to. (Such colors became standard in the later British-originating variant, blackball). The rules, as officially codified in the Billiard Congress of America's rule book, were periodically revised in the years following.

Monster Truck Soccer

Monster Jam events are held throughout the year in various venues around the U.S. and Canada. Events are generally held in the winter and early spring when professional football and southern baseball stadiums are generally dormant for their main purpose. Events have also been held in other locations around the world, including Europe, Australia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and Singapore.

At Monster Jam events, monster trucks face off in three forms of competition: racing, two-wheel skills, and freestyle.

Racing is traditional heads-up tournament racing, where the first truck to cross the finish line moves onto the next round; the final race of the night is for that particular event's championship.

Formula Drag

To allow different cars to compete against each other, some competitions are raced on a handicap basis, with faster cars delayed on the starting line enough to theoretically even things up with the slower car.
This may be based on rule differences between the cars in stock, super stock, and modified classes, or on a competitor's chosen "dial-in" in bracket racing.

Wrecked

The races themselves focus heavily on "vehicular combat", where players have to find a balance between defensive tactics such as avoiding debris or opponents' vehicles and more aggressive tactics such as grinding against opponents and forcing them out of the way in order to overtake them or avoid harm.

While Wreckfest's focus on physics and vehicular damage is similar to previous destruction-based racing games such as Criterion's Burnout, it follows a somewhat slower and more strategic approach,[6] resulting in a more traditional racing gameplay experience than in comparable games.

Mini Racer

Mini Motor Racing is an arcade-style racer with strong emphasis on fun over realism. Rather than controlling acceleration and braking, the user must instead master powerslides and timely nitrous boosts to succeed. Cars regularly crash into the environment and each other, but there is no vehicle damage. The game uses a modified version of the Unity physics engine to model these collisions.

Finishing In Any Position in race nets the player cash rewards, which can be supplemented through in-game cash power ups. This cash is used to purchase cars, or upgrade purchased/unlocked cars when playing career mode.

The game uses HD graphics, and while the game is set in an isometric view, the cars and tracks are full 3D models. Several control schemes are available for the user's selection, though physical controls such as those on the Sony Xperia Play are not supported.

Mini Motor Racing uses Apple's Game Center platform for social play, featuring competitive per-track leaderboards and achievements. Multiplayer gameplay is supported through WiFi and Bluetooth, allowing for up to 4 players in WiFi and 2 players through Bluetooth connectivity.

Road Racer

Road racing is a form of motorsport racing held on a paved road surfaces. The races can be held either on a closed circuit or on a street circuit utilizing temporarily closed public roads. Originally, road races were held almost entirely on public roads however, public safety concerns eventually led to most races being held on purpose built racing circuits.
Road racing's origins were centered in Western Europe and Great Britain as motor vehicles became more common in the early 20th century. After the Second World War, automobile road races were organized into a series called the Formula One world championship sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) while, motorcycle road races were organized into the Grand Prix motorcycle racing series now called MotoGP and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM).[1] The success and popularity of road racing has seen the sport spread across the globe with Grand Prix road races having been held on six continents.[2] Other variations of road racing include; sports car racing, touring car racing, stock car racing, superbike racing, truck racing, kart racing and endurance racing.
